Broken Gas Station Paintings
With these works I chose to focus on petrol stations around my town which fell into disrepair while the boom of the gas economy was taking place. Each one of these images shows a station devoid of human presence and in some state of dis-repair. I feel the fascination here comes as a completion of the circle of fascination with motor culture in America.
